ABOIAR no MODO é a concretização de um desejo comum volvidos alguns anos, meses, semanas, dias atrás entre três pessoas e duas associações culturais que estão separadas por uma ponte “velha” comunicante entre Portimão e Lagoa e Lagoa e Portimão. As três pessoas acima referidas envolveram ainda mais pessoas. Todas essas pessoas serão nomeadas em cada sessão que vivifica a nossa imaginação activa colectiva nos mais diversos formatos e áreas artístico-culturais. Somos TRANSDISCPLINARES e adoramos (meter-nos em) CALDEIRADAS.
Post(o)-I(s)t(o), ABOIAR no MODO será para já uma tentativa-deriva que não morrerá perante o naufrágio.

ABOIAR (floating) at MODO is the realization of a common desire that arose a few years, months, weeks, or days ago among three people and two cultural associations that are connected by an 'old' bridge between Portimão and Lagoa and Lagoa and Portimão. The three individuals mentioned above have involved even more people. All these individuals will be named in each session that brings our collective active imagination to life in various artistic and cultural formats and areas. We are TRANSDISCIPLINARY and we love (to get into) CALDEIRADAS (hotchpotch).
“Post (o)-I(s)t (o)” (having said so), ABOIAR at MODO will, for now, be a drifting attempt that will not die in the face of shipwreck.

one thousand and one nightsPT
Mil e Uma Noites é uma rubrica de experimentação da voz e das palavras que torna simbióticas as vozes de duas mulheres, a cada noite: juntas, estas duas vozes são Xerazade, contando estórias de mulheres que escreveram no século XX: dos diários aos poemas, das lenga-lengas às cartas de amor; das declarações de voto aos lenços bordados, das atas dos sindicatos aos ensaios.
Ao longo dos últimos dois anos, a equipa do UmColetivo, estrutura com sede em Portalegre, tem recolhido afetivamente estórias e escritos, entre bibliotecas públicas, residências artísticas, acervos, arquivos e espólios pessoais. É um labor que não terminou nem termina em breve: vai viajando na mochila com que a equipa percorre o país, num projeto que foi inspirado pela obra de Maria Lamas.
A cada noite, partilhamos um excerto de uma obra de uma mulher e falamos brevemente sobre a sua biografia, procurando abrir pistas para novas leituras, novos estudos e, talvez, novas edições.

One Thousand and One Nights is a feature dedicated to the experimentation of voice and words, making the voices of two women symbiotic each night: together, these two voices are Scheherazade, telling stories of women who wrote in the 20th century: from diaries to poems, from nursery rhymes to love letters; from voting declarations to embroidered handkerchiefs, from union meeting minutes to essays.
Over the past two years, the team of UmColetivo, an organization based in Portalegre, has affectionately collected stories and writings from public libraries, artistic residences, collections, archives, and personal legacies. It is a labor that has not finished and will not finish soon: it travels in the backpack with which the team explores the country, in a project inspired by the work of Maria Lamas.
Each night, we share an excerpt from a woman's work and briefly discuss her biography, aiming to open pathways for new readings, new studies, and perhaps new editions.
