Há um momento em que a terra abranda, as folhas caem, os dias escurecem e o mundo parece guardar os seus segredos debaixo da superfície. É tempo de colher, preservar, transformar e preparar o que ainda está por vir.
É neste tempo de passagem que o MODO abre as portas a três dias de encontros improváveis, saberes antigos e experiências inesperadas. Um festival onde a natureza se cruza com a arte, a ciência com a tradição, e os gestos de ontem inspiram outras formas de imaginar o amanhã.
Entre tintas feitas de bugalhos, cogumelos e biomateriais, zines e impressão botânica, fotografia e cinema palestiniano, conversas à volta da matéria e da memória, uma cachupa partilhada na rua e um Supper Club que celebra os rituais da terra, há muito para descobrir e espaço para deixar a curiosidade levar-nos.
Três dias para abrandar, experimentar, escutar, provar e partilhar. Para descobrir o que nasce do que sobra, as histórias que os alimentos transportam e os mundos que se revelam quando olhamos de outra maneira.

There comes a moment when the earth slows down, leaves fall, days grow darker, and the world seems to keep its secrets hidden beneath the surface. It is a time to harvest, preserve, transform, and prepare for what is yet to come.
It is in this season of transition that MODO opens its doors to three days of unexpected encounters, ancient knowledge, and surprising experiences. A festival where nature meets art, science meets tradition, and the gestures of yesterday inspire new ways of imagining tomorrow.
From inks made with oak galls, mushrooms, and biomaterials to zines and botanical printing, photography and Palestinian cinema, conversations around matter and memory, a shared cachupa on the street, and a Supper Club celebrating the rituals of the earth, there is much to discover and plenty of room to let curiosity lead the way.
Three days to slow down, experiment, listen, taste, and share. To discover what can emerge from what remains, the stories carried by food, and the worlds that reveal themselves when we learn to look at things differently.
